Due to the long history of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Razi University, in training specialized personnel in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in various fields of zoology, we decided to publish the quarterly Journal of Biodiversity and Animal Taxonomy to help document the activities of specialists and to promote the scientific level in various fields of biodiversity and zoology and increase the level of awareness of experts and improve educational and research affairs.

One of the special features of this journal is that this journal is not limited to public affairs and review and pays special attention to scientific and specialized research.
